Michel Fournier tested his radio connection that also will ensure physiological monitoring, as a video connection through the helmet onboard his « gondola » was tested too. Everything looked OK, but the weather compelled to postpone the Frenchman’s feat a bit later. Now it looks OK again.
64-year old parachutist Michel FOURNIER should presently jump at a speed of 1.4 Mach at Flight Level 1320 (about 40 km, or 132,000 ft), almost over the ozone layer !!!
GO MICHEL ! GO and make a historical sonic boom as Chuck Yeager did!
