Here is a very interesting publication issued by the U.S. Department of Defense for public release. This report must be worth reading for SLP/PLS 4444 training as the PRC’s stakes and strategy are well explained as well as the prospective, and involvements. (click on the book below):

New USAF energy plan
Dec 10
12/9/2009 – WASHINGTON (AFNS) – Air Force officials here released its new energy plan Dec. 9 to serve as the framework for communicating Air Force energy goals and further expands a culture shift “where Airmen make energy a consideration in everything we do.”

The latest US National Intelligence Strategy Report was released last night. However, the Director of National Intelligence website was unserviceable for a few hours. The document is now made public and available at this address:
http://www.dni.gov/reports/2009_NIS.pdf
This report which is released every four years, is considered as a guide for the future US strategy, procurement policy, economic trend, threats, etc. It also points out major cyberpowers in the world i.e. China, Russia, Iran, and North Korea.
This is a quite interesting prospective summary of what the next US/global challenges are deemed to be. Financial and sanitary situations are examined as well as asymmetric threats and proliferation. A document that needs reading from everyone, actually.
The French Defense White Paper had already stressed threats from non-state actors, and for the first time, cyber warfare had been pointed out in an official document.
